Jeremy's work at the lab has included breeding & field-testing oysters resistant to Vibrio bacteria & oyster herpes, the use of probiotics to improve growth & survival of larval oysters, & understanding the effects of ocean-acidification and tire wear particles on larval oysters. Jeremy is currently working on a multi-stressor (pH, temperature, hypoxia, alkalinity) flow-through rearing system to explore the effects of future ocean conditions on crabs, krill, urchins & oysters.
